I have decided to take some of my ADHD impulsive writing to a different website whenever I want to rant or rave about any of the nerd content that I’m currently into. I claimed and created PixelatedReviews.com
Way back in 2015, I wanted to start a gaming blog. I called it SnappyByte (ugh cringe, I know).

To get myself started, I listened to marketing podcasts while I was working at Midtown Comics, read many articles about starting and building a website from Neil Patel, and how to make passive income by Pat Flynn.
I took courses and got my Marketing certificates through Hubspot Academy & General Assembly, and invested my own money in buying domains & hosting.
All the knowledge that I have gained over the years, I have to remember that I’m not a beginner anymore. I'm a struggling mid-level expert that’s taking me nearly a decade to finally be serious about it.

With the current state of social media, I want to stop doomscrolling and take a few steps back from it.
Back then, I felt so much pressure in trying to keep up with social media trends, but somehow, I feel less pressure whenever I’m writing on my blog. Time to refocus my attention on building a successful website instead of trying to become an influencer.
Sharing my experiences to the world via Internet that's NOT social media feels so off-brand to me, but I think I'm simply going back to my roots when I used to write constantly during the Xanga and Tumblr days.
So I'm sticking to my original plan back in 2015. Maintaining two websites: my personal blog and a nerd blog, now proudly titled, Pixelated Reviews.

This time feels different.
10 years of experience on the internet is a lot, so I deserve some credit.
I renamed and closed a lot of accounts that held my old gaming moniker. Time has definitely allowed me to heal and move on from the past.

Starting fresh is always a good thing. And moving forward is the new mindset that I need to push myself.
No more longing for the could’ves and should’ves.
It’s time to enter another brand new era of my Internet presence.
